The distinguished bride and groom had chosen to have their wedding ceremony performed outdoors. It was such an amazing day. At Pillar & Post in Niagara-on-the-Lake, no stone was left unturned, guiding ideas along to wedding day perfection. The Pillar & Post venue can accommodate 24 guests for those wishing to have a very intimate wedding, or in their Upper Canada Hall Ballroom, 192 guests. The bride and groom on this very day had chosen The Gallery, where their 86 guests would retreat after witnessing their I-do’s under the late afternoon sky. This location itself boasts a warm charm and Tuscan-inspired décor; it’s little wonder that our newlyweds had chosen a wine barrel theme.
Just before the guests retreated to The Gallery, a ceremony signing table worthy of a million photos received nearly many social media likes. Once inside the room, a wine barrel table held a vast selection of desserts for all the guests to enjoy themselves. It was made simple for the couple to acquire a liquor license as Pillar & Post took care of it. Not to worry, guests could easy choose a beverage from the bar as Mr. and Mrs. had arranged for a wedding bar package.
As all made their way to their assigned seats, the lace head table captivated each and every eye in the room, so elegant and pristine. Every ting of the glass was met with a kiss and the evening wore as perfect as the bride’s gown.
The menu at Pillar & Post for events such as this has a very nice variety to choose from; buffet, cocktail reception, family style, hors-d’oeuvres, stations and tastings. The guests on this memorable evening were treated to a plated dinner from a specialized menu.
