The Canadian Heritage Warplane Museum might not be the first place you think of as the ‘perfect place to celebrate your wedding’. That said, walking into it, what a beautiful wedding venue it makes.
Selecting wedding décor for a space like this can range from building something elegant to going fairy tale, luxurious, or even with a slightly rustic twinge. Compared to other venues in Hamilton area, weddings at the Canadian Heritage Warplane Museum have a tremendous amount of space to play with. Ideal for larger gatherings, A Night to Remember was proud to have been selected to supply wedding décor for this occasion.
The vastness of a wedding space like this presents a challenge. For wedding décor, it can be difficult to know what the right combination of elements is.
Working alongside the marrying couple, we chose to bring together some beautiful centrepieces, sequin table linens, floral aisle markers, an aisle runner, Chiavari chair décor, and a white, luxurious ceremony backdrop. Walking down among family and friends, surrounded by all the wedding décor options they wanted, was rewarding to witness. A peaceful moment after all the hustle and bustle leading up to the big ‘I do’, the event proved to be quiet, romantic, and perhaps as relaxing as a wedding can be!

Surrounded by lots of love, much of the wedding décor was about emphasizing the large size of the space and creating a gentle, unforgettable spirit to fill the room. The bride and groom were looking to put together their dream wedding event. Putting their needs as the highest priority, we elaborated on much of what was discussed in our initial consultation and filled in the details for this great gathering of family and friends.
