An outdoor open-air wedding has the luxury of having natural wonders hugging every visual perspective on all sides.
For couples looking to use an outdoor wedding venue like Liuna Gardens, this doesn’t mean décor is out. If anything, it’s a vast opportunity to do something wickedly wonderful with the décor you do intend to have.
Captured in these photos by Josh Bellingham Photography, the green-esque rose floral theme comes across well. You already the beauty of the outdoors to work from. For this décor arrangement, we wanted to do two things – add some choice natural flowers outdoors to customize nature with a little personality and bring some of that same nature inside.
Outdoors, we used rustic mason jar floral arrangements which hung from wedding-ready Sheppard hooks. Inside, we had blush, pink sheer draped head tables, bridesmaid bouquets carefully placed atop, and these same themes traversing throughout the room in detailed ways.
We didn’t want to outdo the wedding ceremony with extensive décor inside. We also didn’t want inside to be lacking in any way and so, we prepared the site accordingly. The floral pink blush wedding décor theme was decided on beforehand, with the marrying couple choosing their favourite décor elements. It was then on us to bring their vision to life – our favourite part!
The wedding turned out to be a stress-free affair, at least as it related to the décor. That’s the best thing about hiring a Hamilton, Ontario wedding décor service. Liuna Gardens is such an ideal wedding venue for couples who love nature, gardening, and outdoors. It’s not the blank canvas that other less romantic Hamilton wedding spaces are though. You have to work your décor to not conflict with what’s already going on.
The blush and pink draped room proved to be a hit with the families and marrying couple. Everyone was so happy, so many smiles shared! The wedding of your dreams can happen anywhere when you plan the décor right.
A Night to Remember was so very pleased with the results of our wedding décor planning. It’s not often we get to work our creativity outside of the usual white-and-black classic traditional aesthetic. For this wedding, the couple’s personalities really came through – in every choice.
